On our way to Pinehurst, NC, we stopped right at about half way in Savannah, GA for a long lunch and stroll around Forsyth Park.
We really enjoyed our seafood meal at the centrally located Cafe at City Market and our peach gelato at Cafe Gelatohhh!
And, of course, we stopped to use the restroom at the well known south of the border exit… 
My dear friend Claire and her parents invited us to stay with them at their beautiful home on the lake in Pinehurst. We enjoyed a weekend of golf, yoga, relaxation, boat rides, and great food. After our time in NC, we visited our sister and brother-in-law in Atlanta, GA. One notable meal was yummy brunch at the Flying Biscuit!
